Mindrolling Lotus Garden is delighted to invite all who have attended the teachings on the six yogas from Rinpoche to gather together for an in-depth review and practice weekend. This review will be a wonderful opportunity to practice together and to refine and deepen our understanding of these profound practices. For practitioners who have attended and received instructions on the six yogas in 2015 and 2016, this is a rare and precious opportunity to gather for a review of the teachings and practice intensively together.
The whole purpose of the sequence of the six yogas is to cut through the solidification and the grossness of outer appearances and the reality that we give to phenomena, our own body and to mind. All six have to do with the skillful means that cut through the conceptual hesitation that something is graspable, real, or conceptual. Each of the practices sequentially goes deeper and deeper to understanding ultimately the clear emptiness nature, the dhamakaya mind. Through the means of the yogas, one also slashes or cuts through to recognize and release the fundamental clear nature, intrinsic of our own selves. Jetsün Khandro Rinpoche
Lopön Jann Jackson and Cathie Papantonio will guide the review of the six yogas and there will be time for individual practice retreats. We are delighted that the retreat will be held under the direction of Jetsun la.
