10-Day Practice and Study Intensive

Mindrolling Lotus Garden is pleased to announce a 10-day Practice and Study Intensive in the late spring. This is designed to provide the sangha with the precious occasion of time for review of the key teachings and practices bestowed by H.E. Mindrolling Jetsün Khandro Rinpoche last summer. The Intensive will be led by Lopöns Helen Berliner and Barbara Ryan, under the direction of Jetsün Dechen Paldrön.

SIX YOGAS RETREAT *restricted*
May 18 – 28

Tuition: $300 / $270 (members paying $50+/m)

The Six Yogas Retreat is the wonderful opportunity for those who have received these teachings to refine and deepen their understanding and practice of the Six Yogas in preparation for the Vajrayana Retreat. All necessary individual practice materials should be brought to the program.

Please Note: This is a restricted section of the program. Only those who have already received the Six Yoga transmissions, teachings and practices may register to attend this review.

For this section, arrival and check-in will take place on Friday afternoon, May 18th between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. An introductory talk will take place at 7:30pm. The program will conclude on Tuesday, May 22nd after lunch.

KARMA YOGA PRACTICE
May 23 – 24

The practice of karma yoga is the delightful opportunity to engage in service for the benefit of the sangha and the place of practice. Everyone is invited to join with the residents in this uplifting two days of spring house and land cleaning. The more the merrier, as they say! It is hoped that all those participating in other parts of the Practice and Study Intensive will include this in their schedule of attendance.

Arrival and check-in will take place on Tuesday afternoon, May 22nd in the afternoon. Please arrive in time to join us for dinner at 6:30 p.m. Departure for those not continuing with the Natural Ease Review will take place on Thursday afternoon, May 24.

NATURAL EASE REVIEW, PART II
Impermanence and Change
May 24 – May 28

Tuition: $300 / $270 (members paying $50+/m)

This program provides the opportunity to closely review and study the second chapter of the teachings bestowed by Jetsün Khandro Rinpoche last summer based on The Great Chariot, a commentary on resting in ease in the nature of mind. Written by the great omniscient one, Longchen Rabjam, this text is an in-depth presentation of the stages of the path from beginning to end. Rinpoche encouraged us to read the first two chapters three times during the year in preparation for her continued teachings. Included in the program will be sessions of meditation, contemplation, and discussion.

Both new and senior students, are encouraged to join this cycle of teachings.

For this section, arrival and check-in will take place on Thursday afternoon, May 24th between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. An introductory talk will take place at 7:30pm. The program will conclude on Monday, May 28th after lunch.

Meals and housing are included in the tuition for all sections.
