Vajrayana practitioners, new and old, are invited to gather in the intimate winter setting of Lotus Garden to review and practice the Vajrayana teachings bestowed by Jetsün Khandro Rinpoche in September 2019.
The review will focus on the skillful means of creation and completion as taught in classical texts, such as the Ladder to Akanishta by Jigme Lingpa. These practices articulate the Vajrayana path and exemplify how mind works with form, sound, and thought. Additionally, we will review this year’s focus on ganachakra, or feast offering: the joyful gathering celebrating the perfection of merit and wisdom.
This retreat will consist of group prayers in the morning and evening; daily review of Rinpoche’s teachings by the lopöns, with time for discussion; and personal practice. Together we will all prepare and participate in the richness of a Downpour of Blessings feast to conclude the retreat.
Arrival and check-in will take place on Friday afternoon, December 27 between 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:30 p.m. An introductory talk will take place at 7:30pm. The program will conclude on Wednesday, January 1 after lunch. Happy New Year!
Meals and housing are included in your tuition.
