Minling Lotus Garden COVID Policy

Please find our current COVID protocols listed below. The health and well-being of all visitors and sangha members is of utmost importance. These guidelines have been put in place to ensure the health and safety of the sangha during visits and programs at Lotus Garden.

Day Visit Guidelines:

We require day visitors to follow these guidelines:

  • Wear a N95 or KN95 mask indoors and maintain social distance from others.
  • N95 or KN95 mask is optional when outdoors and while maintaining social distance from others.

Program Attendance Guidelines:

If you are registering or have registered for an in-person program, we require all participants to follow these guidelines:

Online Registration Requirements – Register Online and Upload Vaccination Record:

  • When registering for any in-person program at Lotus Garden, you will be required to upload verification of your Covid-19 vaccination record at the time of registration. Your vaccination record will need to show that you are up to date on all recommended doses and boosters for COVID-19.

Pre-Program Requirements – PCR Test:

  • Prior to attending any program, we recommend you limit your contact with others as much as possible to ensure you are at minimal risk for COVID-19infection.
  • Within 72 hours before your arrival for any program, you must take a PCR test and email us your result at: healthandwellbeing@lotusgardens.org
  • You will be required to submit a negative test result to attend the program.
  • If you test positive, please let us know and we will work with individuals on a case-by-case basis to adjust your registration and attendance accordingly.

Day of Arrival Requirements – Mask is required for 72 hours after arrival:

  • All participants will be required to wear a N95 or KN95 mask for 72hrs after their arrival.
  • Check In at Main Office area. A registration tent will be set up and staff will be there to facilitate your registration. During this time, you will receive all information relevant to the program and:
  • Sign a general liability waiver form and a COVID-19 waiver form
  • Complete a brief health assessment

72 hours after arrival Requirements – Antigen Test:

  • 72 hours after your arrival you will receive an email letting you know it is time to take your antigen test. All participants will need to bring two antigen tests with them to the retreat.
  • All participants will be required to take a rapid antigen test and email your results to healthandwellbeing@lotusgardens.org
  • Once MLG Health & Wellbeing receives your negative antigen result, you will receive notification that you are cleared to attend the retreat without a N95 or KN95 mask.
  • If you test positive, we will work with you individually on a case-by-case basis to ensure your safety and the safety of the entire sangha.

During the retreat:

  • MLG Health & Well Being staff will be available throughout the retreat if you have any questions or concerns.
  • Health and safety protocols will be in place throughout the retreat, and we ask that everyone help by:
    • Washing hands regularly with soap and water
    • Using hand sanitizer regularly
    • Maintaining a clean and uplifted retreat environment
  • If at any point you develop any cold or flu like symptoms, please immediately report them to the designated MLG health and well-being staff.
  • If at any point, you develop any cold or flu like symptoms, we will ask that you self-isolate and wear a N95 or KN95 mask until you can be assessed, and we will help facilitate a covid test.
  • If you test positive, we will work with you individually on a case-by-case basis to ensure your safety and the safety of the entire sangha.

The Mindrolling Lotus Garden Administration reserves the right to refuse admittance or attendance to anyone who does not adhere to these policies and the instructions of the staff during programs.
