Lotus Garden is pleased to announce the second part of this year’s study of lineage and devotion. From the well-spring of blessings beginning with Padmasambhava, Vimalamitra, and Vairocana, we will trace the transmission of indestructible wisdom from timeless awareness through the incomparable lineage holders to our present day root guru.
Grounded in the sutra teachings, and continuing with the Yen Lag Dunpa, the Long Seven-Branch Offering, as our guide, we will learn the view, meditation, action, and conduct of the six tantric yanas. We will help students deepen their understanding of how guru devotion leads to irreversible confidence—and how the vast skillful means of the outer and inner tantric teachings lead practitioners into the nondual expanse.
All Buddhist practitioners are welcome to this retreat, which will include four daily practice sessions, group discussions, and individual instruction.
This program will be led by Lopöns Jann Jackson and Helen Berliner, senior students of Her Eminence Mindrolling Jetsün Khandro Rinpoche and lopöns of Lotus Garden. It will take place from Wednesday May 23rd at 8:00 p.m to noon on Monday, May 28th. The program tuition is $295, which includes dorm housing and all meals. There is 10% discount on tuition for members paying $50 per month or more.
Note: Part I of this series was offered in February.
