An amazing thing has taken place here at Lotus Garden! In early November, Her Eminence Jetsün Khandro Rinpoche requested that 108 new trees be donated by the sangha and planted on the land to enhance the enivronment, provide shade for practitioners and food and shelter for wildlife. In just a little more than 3 busy weeks, over 80 trees have been donated and dedicated from all over the US and as far away as India, Greece and Denmark. We'd like to share some photos of the tree project.

A Stake Marks the Spot

In late November, a line of stakes placed on the hillside mark the locations for new trees. Rinpoche herself selected the location of each tree to be planted.
