Farewell to Lopön Peter Lieberson

Lopon Peter

In early April, after years of struggling with cancer, our beloved Lopön Peter Lieberson passed away in Tel Aviv while undergoing treatment.

The sangha honored Lopön Peter with sadhana practices of the Minling Dorsem (Vajrasattva) during the days and months following his passing.

In early September, during the Annual Retreat, HE Jetsün Khandro Rinpoche led the sangha in a ceremony to scatter the ashes of Lopön Peter (in accordance with his wishes) in the pond near the Buddha statue.
