Tulku Drakpa Rinpoche came to Finland upon request from Rinpoche’s Finnish students and subsequently established the Danakosha centre. Situated on the edge of the Helsinki city centre, Danakosha has a beautiful spacious shrine room which seats around 80 people and a convenient adjacent space for an office, a shop, a kitchen and a dining room.

Everything in the centre shows lots of hard work and the dedication of the sangha. However, as Jetsün Khandro Rinpoche emphasized at the beginning of her teaching, the most impressive thing about Danakosha were its students. Naturally alert and attentive, yet always kind, respectful and at ease—such students were a real testimony to Tulku Drakpa Rinpoche's activity in Finland. Tulku Drakpa Rinpoche and the sangha of Danakosha asked Jetsün Khandro Rinpoche to teach on the Essence of Mahayana. As a framework for the teachings, Rinpoche used Chökyi Drakpa’s teaching on the Bodhisattva Practice.
