Constructing the Lotus Throne

In August, Lama Riga and Lama Phuntsog Namgyal returned to Lotus Garden from Mindrolling Monastery to guide the residents in the installation of the Buddha. Working alongside these monks was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to experience the flexibility, ease and complete devotion of these two lamas. Preparations of the pedestal were begun which included reinforcing the top and construction of the lotus throne on which the Buddha would stand.
