Mindrolling Jetsün Dechen Paldrön

Mindrolling Jetsün Dechen Paldrön was born in Kalimpong, India, to Kyabje Mindrolling Trichen and Mindrolling Sangyum Kushog. In close collaboration with  elder sister, Mindrolling Jetsün Khandro Rinpoche, she has coordinated the activities of the Dhamarshri Group.

In an achievement of historical significance, Jetsün Dechen Paldrön has made the first Western translations of great terma texts of her ancestor, Chögyal Terdag Lingpa, into English. The Lotus Garden sangha has been exceptionally fortunate, each year, to practice these extraordinary sadhana liturgies and to receive instruction from Jetsunla on the ritual aspects of each.

In 2012 and 2014, respectively, Jetsün Dechen Paldrön and husband, Kunda Britton Bosarge, became parents to Jetsün Gautami Thrinley Chodroen and Dungse Jigdral Garwang Dondrub Wangyal Rinpoche—the first members of the 13th generation of Mindrolling. Despite the demands of raising two small children, Jetsunla continues a rigorous work schedule to manage, among other things, the preservation activities of Dharmashri and the Mindrolling lineage.

Each year, Jetsunla divides her time between Mindrolling Monastery and Mindrolling Lotus Garden.
